“I’m so sorry, Natalie. Your dress is getting wet!” Lindsay said.
“I’m not worried about it. Nothing can ruin this moment,” she told me.
They had been married for only an hour when we took them outside for their husband and wife portrait time. You see, it had been raining ever since they said “I do.” There was water and puddles everywhere. We really believed her too. I don’t think anything could have ruined that day for Natalie or Travis. Every time we looked at them, they were smiling or laughing or kissing or hugging. I think it’s safe to say it was one of their favorite days of all time.
We first met Natalie and Travis in person at a Starbucks about halfway between our home and theirs. We asked them all kinds of questions, but our favorite is “How did you guys first meet?” Natalie looked at Travis and said, “I’m not exactly sure, but I can’t remember not knowing him.” You can see it in the way they love each other. It’s natural. Easy. Like they have been doing it their whole lives. On St. Patricks Day, Natalie and Travis said yes to a life together at the gorgeous Firefly Gardens. Their day was filled with life and color and joy even though the clouds were dark and the grass was wet.
Natalie and Travis, we feel so honored to be able to witness the way you love one another. We can’t think of a better way to spend our Saturdays than to serve brides and grooms just like you. Your colorful wedding is a day you and your friends and family will never forget! It was a perfect reflection of who you two are: bright and joyful. We hope you love looking back and remembering this sacred day as much as we loved being there with you!
