She walked toward him through the drizzle. She tapped him on the shoulder and he turned. It happened in an instant. He saw this woman that he loved, his bride, and he could barely say anything. He breathed out a, “Wow.” She was breathtaking in her champagne dress. “I think it’s raining on my face,” Austin said this a variation of this a few times on his wedding day. But we don’t blame him for it… It was hard for us to hold back our own tears from behind our cameras! Not only was she beautiful on the outside, she carried herself with grace all day!
No one expects rain on their wedding day. The rain didn’t phase Gabriela and Austin! They were getting to marry each other. Best friends. On this day, they would get to commit the rest of their lives to each other and celebrate with friends and family. Gabriela said, “I don’t care if I get wet. We’re all just gonna have to be okay with that today!” Later, we talked about how they would laugh how it was one of the rainiest weekends in San Angelo in the last ten years, historically a dry, desert town! But, Christoval Vineyards felt like new life had been brought with the rain. Everything was green and lush and full of fresh air. The rain had rejuvenated the vineyard!
When we first met Gabriela and Austin, we immediately knew we loved them. They are spunky and adventurous. They love being outside and playing with the huge lapdogs! We feel sad they aren’t in Fort Worth!
Gabriela and Austin, what can we say? We have loved every minute of our time together! We can’t wait to see your marriage and love for one another grow. It’s been such a privilege to be a part of the beginning of this lifelong journey together. Even though we live miles apart, we know we will be friends with you two for a long time. We had such fun capturing your day, meeting your family, and getting to know you! Thank you for trusting us with that!
Till we see each other again, L&B
