Being a wedding photographer can sometimes feel like we only get to know couples for a very short period of a couple’s life. You can look at it as a blessing, but sometimes it makes me sad that we don’t have more time with people. But this is why I love bridals. It gives me extra time with brides to build bonds, laugh, and truly create a friendship. Often, I get to meet the maid/matron of honor, the mother of the bride, and even the mother of the groom. It helps the wedding day feel smooth because I’ve been able to fluff the dress a few times and get to know what angles look and feel best for our brides.
Mamie’s bridal session was just that, extra time together to create a lasting friendship. Not only was it a gorgeous May day at The Peach Orchard, Mamie looked radiant. Getting to show Mamie a few sneak previews of her session just in the back of my camera made us even more excited for their wedding day. Stay tuned to see how those images turned out. 😍
