We are natural light enthusiasts and love a candid moment. We’re also drawn to simplicity, natural colors and images focused on people and their surrounding background. The tried and true results are photos full of life and joy — something we’re really proud to create for every couple.

When we take your photo, we promise to take out all the guesswork and awkwardness. We’re here to make you look good which means we’ll tell you exactly how to stand and what to do with those hands. We love to say, “Trust us — if it feels weird, it looks great!” and that’s because we’ve learned this from years of experience. We promise to show you the photos on our cameras to prove it, too. Most of all, we’re here to make you laugh and relax as we capture your wedding day.

We offer complimentary travel for your wedding location, engagement location, or anything other sessions within 40 miles of 77384. If you are in the DFW Metroplex, our complimentary travel is within 40 miles of 76114. We absolutely travel beyond these areas, so if your wedding or session is somewhere else, let us know and we’ll give you a custom travel quote.

will you travel?

We average 70 images per hour of shooting. We deliver our images quickly and easily via an online gallery service called Cloudspot within 60 days of your wedding. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you'd like straight from this link!

How many images should we expect in our wedding gallery?

Our main goal on your wedding day is to serve you! We’ll be there to help guide everyone and make them feel comfortable while having their photo taken. This includes you guys, your families and your wedding party. There will be moments when we take control to make sure everything gets accomplished so that the day stays on schedule, and then there will be moments when you don’t even know we’re there!

How involved are you guys on the wedding day?

When it comes to having a stress-free wedding day, we believe that having a coordinator is one of the greatest decisions you can make. Whether you work with a coordinator through the whole process or just on your wedding day, we find weddings with a coordinator tend to run more smoothly. We’ll work hand in hand with your coordinator to make sure your day is exactly what you dream it to be.

do you think we need a wedding coordinator?

Email, always email. We do our best to respond within 24 hours of your email during office hours: M-Th 10-4. We are slower to respond Friday through Sunday due to weddings, engagements, and of course, family time with our little girl!

What is the best way to get a hold of you?

The very first thing we do after you book is set a day for your engagement session. These sessions happen a few hours before sunset because that’s the time of day when the sun is at just the right spot to create beautiful, flattering light. The nature of our business is for weekends to fill up fast, so let’s talk about availability sooner rather than later.

When do you schedule engagement sessions?

Everything we do on a wedding day has to do with the sun. We start with when the sun sets (so we can make a note of when to take your Husband & Wife sunset portraits) and then we work backward from there. When we send you our Lutz Wedding Guide, we’ll give you all our tips for deciding the time of your ceremony. Typically, though, we suggest your ceremony start time be a minimum of two hours before sunset.
